Hello All,
Alright so I just typed this whole thing but then the computer deleted it so the message won't be in quite as much detail.
Today Sarah and I hung around town and leisurely (not sure on spelling, sorry aunt lori) read books. We were planning on travelling to Stirling Castle but by the time the bus arrived in St. Andrews and would get us to the castle it wasn't going to be worth it for today anyways. Tonight we went and had dinner at a Japanese/Thai place and it was quite delicious.
Tomorrow morning I leave for London on the train at 9:30am and should arrive in London around 3pmish. My hostel that I am staying at is in Greenwich so the plan for the rest of tomorrow is to explore around Greenwich. Tuesday I plan on getting on one of the sightseeing hop-on hop-off buses to see the city. Then Wednesday and Thursday morning I will see the other things I didn't see. I head back to St. Andrews on Thursday afternoon. I am getting quite excited to leave but also a little nervous. Luckily it stays really light here until around 10:30pm (hopefully close to same in London) so that I won't be walking around in the dark. I'm not sure if I will have internet access so this may be the last blog for a few days. I have an international pay as you go phone that I use to talk to Dad and Mom so they know that I will be safe.
Love to all,
Heather heading to London

Well, I am impressed that you are in the same city as the Queen! That is so cool (much cooler than Dolly). The flexibility of the hop-on-hop off busses sounds intriguing. London is going to be so exciting. Can't wait to hear all about it! Be safe, but have so much fun! Tessa leaves for Alaska today, so she will also be having an adventure. Sending you lots of love. Aunt Lori
ReplyDeleteHeather,
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to call you but for some reason it says its an incorrect number. I'll get you my phone number sometime before Tuesday, I don't have it on me right now. Anyways, I'm getting to Cork Ireland on the 7th of July. I'll be in Ireland until the 16th. Hopefully we will be able to meet up.
Hi Margaret,
ReplyDeleteThat's weird that the phone won't work. You could try putting 44 in front of the number I gave you and see if it works that way. I'm not so sure that I am going to make it to Ireland now though. I'm trying to book the tickets today to get over there into Belfast but not having very much luck. I hope you are enjoying your travels.
