Getting Ready

Hello All!
I am currently getting ready to take off on my awesome Graduation trip to Scotland, England, and Ireland, thanks to Grandpa and Grandma McCarn (I love you and thank you very much). I am figuring out all the last minute details of things to pack and things that I can live without. I am extremely excited to leave on Friday morning bright and early (6:30am). I first head to New York JFK airport and have a five hour layover and then head over to Edinburgh, Scotland. My friend Sarah is meeting me at the airport when I get in (8:20am) and the plan is travel around Edinburgh for the day and then head to St. Andrews where she is going to school and I will be staying with her. I have no idea what my trip schedule is going to be like yet but I plan on seeing as much as possible in the five weeks that I am there. Well I am off to get to packing and have some dinner. Love you all and updates coming soon.
Love,
Heather

  2. Hi Heather,
I Googled "N. Ireland whitepages" and found Catheren's dad:

    Thomas Keightley in Belfast
    Phone 028 9064 3777
    86b Beechill Road, Belfast, BT8 7QN

Beachhill Rd is in South Belfast just off of Belvoir (Pronounced - Beaver) Road.
Catheren is apparently living separtly and is unlisted - Call her dad or mom, Martha.
    Love, Grandpa

Just a quick note to say that we would be delighted to meet up with Heather when she comes to Ireland. We would also be more than happy to offer her a place to stay while she is here.

I'll email Heather soon (i'm just heading out now) to make contact, but if you are in touch with her in the meantime please assure her that there in a warm welcome in Belfast!

I hope you are keeping well, we are all in good form here.

  4. Hi Heather

So you've set off on your travels then? I'm very jealous indeed! Let me know when you are heading this way. The phone number your Grandpa gave you is the best one. (I do officially live elsewhere, but i'm temporarily living with my parents while work is being done at my house - a long story involving my brother and the longest rewire in the history of electricity!)
Will your friend be coming too? I hope the weather stays good for you, we have had some lovely sunny spells recently.
Give us a ring, or email when you get the chance, just ask for Tom, Meta or Catherine. My email address is catherinekeightley@hotmail.com

    Speak to you soon!

    Catherine

  5. Hello Catherine,
Yes, my travels have begun. My friend Sarah will not be coming with me. She is a graduate student at St. Andrews university and needs to work on research so she is going to work on that while I travel around a bit. I'm not sure when I am going to be coming over yet. My friend scheduled out the first two weeks that I am here to spend time with me so it will be some time after this week and next. I am very excited to meet you and will let you know as soon as I know more about the dates I will be travelling to Ireland. Thank you for letting me stay with you. Talk to you soon.
    ~Heather
